Every time one hears about Ramayana, it‘s always been about Ram Vs Ravan, but this time around with ‘Ramayana - The Epic‘, it‘s the other way round, and the audience will get to see a Ravan vs Ram perspective story. A Maya Digital Media production wins kudos for one of the most ambitious and expensive full length 3D animation feature films made in India. Having witnessed a sneak peak of the theatrical trailer, the theme of the film is mythological adventure yet the art of story telling is very contemporary with action sequences. Maya Movies is in talks with Warner bros for the worldwide distribution of the film, Rajshri New Media and Hungama for the digital platforms. Talks are on for the rights for the nice catchy tunes targeted to kids and the mobile content rights. Looking at a 360 degree monetization they are also looking to make deals with publishers for graphic novels and also have merchandising plans along with gaming.
