Acer Selects Nvidia 3d Vision Technology for Line of 3d Monitors

NVIDIA has announced a number of additions to its rapidly expanding ecosystem of NVIDIA 3D Vision supported products. Award-winning NVIDIA 3D Vision technology delivers a breathtaking stereoscopic 3D experience for gamers, movie-lovers and photo enthusiasts on their PCs and notebook computers. At CES Acer launched the Aspire Z5763, one of the first 3D Vision-enabled all-in-one PCs, as well as the world‘s first 27-inch 3D Vision Ready monitor. The new Acer HN274H 27-inch and GN245HQ 24-inch monitors, which include built-in 3D Vision emitters, are the first universal 3D monitors that support both DL-DVI and HDMI 1.4 inputs, enabling users to enjoy stereoscopic 3D games, movies, photos, and more when connected to any 3D Vision PC or consumer electronics device with HDMI 1.4 connectivity.

NVIDIA is demonstrating the new Acer 3D Vision all-in-one PC and monitors, along with a host of other new 3D Vision systems, at CES this week (Booth # 31431 - Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall 3).
The Acer Aspire Z5763 is one of the first all-in-one PCs that support NVIDIA 3D Vision. Featuring a 23-inch, full HD (1920 x 1080) 3D Vision display, NVIDIA GeForce GT440 or GeForce GT445M GPUs, a built-in 3D Vision emitter, advanced Dolby surround sound audio, a Blu-ray DVD drive, and optional TV tuner, the Aspire Z5763 is designed to provide home users with powerful, full-featured multimedia entertainment device. The new Acer GN245HQ and HN274H 3D monitors feature DVI-DL and HDMI 1.4 connectivity, as well as full HD resolution (1920x1080), and are the first 3D monitors to provide vibrant, LED backlit panel displays. The new Acer monitors enable users to enjoy a broad range of 3D content from a 3D Vision PC, or HDMI 1.4 3D-enabled game console, set-top-box or Blu-ray DVD player.

Fox Star to release Crest & Lionsgate‘s "Alpha & Omega" in India on Feb 4, 2011

Crest Animation Studios Ltd has announced that the Company‘s first CGI Animated 3D Stereoscopic film, titled "Alpha & Omega" will be released in India on February 04, 2011 and the same is being distributed by Fox Star Studios India.A co production between Lionsgate and Crest Animation Studios, ‘Alpha & Omega’ was theatrically released across 2000+ screens in US on 17 Sep 2010. Crest Animation Studios had informed BSE in Dec 2010 that the film had grossed collections of approximately USD 44 millions worldwide and is continuing to run successfully in major international territories.

Deepak Chopra launches Graphic Novel on the life of "Buddha"

Liquid Comics has announced that it will be collaborating with New York Times bestselling author, Deepak Chopra (The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success, The Book of Secrets), and publishing partner Dynamite Entertainment, on a graphic novel adaptation of Chopra‘s, New York Times bestselling novel entitled, "Buddha: A Story of Enlightenment." The 160-page, hardcover graphic novel will be available in bookstores nationwide on Dec 14th with a digital Apple iPad version also available before the end of the year.Gotham Chopra, Co-Founder of Liquid Comics, oversaw and edited the graphic novel adaptation, which was produced by Liquid‘s studio of young talented artists in India and led by acclaimed illustrator, Dean Hyrapiet.
